Code of ethics to check malpractices and plagiarism in research
UttamchandBagdiya Arts and Commerce College , Risod is committed to produce and promote research of high standard and quality. It strives to develop quality research culture of honesty and transparency. The college follows the code of ethics in research of the SantGadgeBaba Amravati University, Amravati.
The codes of ethics in research are as follows:
- All the supervisor / guides of Ph.D. are required to submit a certificate that the work done by the research scholar under him/her is free of plagiarism and any malpractices in terms of research.
- All the Ph.D. scholars should submit CD of their thesis to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati to check plagiarism through URKUND software.
- All the students / researcher submitting thesis to the Institution are required to submit an undertaking stating that the document has been prepared by him/her and it is his/her original work and free from plagiarism.
- The college has research committee which takes care of the issues regarding the plagiarism and recommends thesis to the university.
- The college gives due importance to the standard of the thought, original thoughts and expression which are ensured through review mechanism.
- The college informs teachers and students about appropriate guidelines for publication in various journals including UGC notified journals.
- The college informs the teachers and students about the free plagiarism checker software so that they can check their research papers/ articles before the publication.
